The Kay Empire was founded by Mr. K. L. Arora, one of the early forerunners of India’s post-independence breed of entrepreneur professionals. Identifying and realizing the potential in import substitution, he ventured into the manufacturing of kay rotary twin/tri lobe compressors (Root Blowers).
With humble beginnings marking its journey towards the top of the corporate ladder, Kay International commenced with the following objectives to provide the Indian industry with the Roots variety of compressors, which until then were all being purchased from the overseas markets:

Under the Dynamic Leadership of Mr. K. L. Arora, Kay International has undergone a whirlwind of transformations and today, comprises of a work force of 310 employees consisting of highly skilled workmen, well experienced technicians & engineers, who possess the same motto as the founder. Our Plant at Sonepat, Haryana is spread in 20,000 square yards and is equipped with highly modernized mother machines, which are either imported or from reputed Indian machine manufacturers like HMT.
